In truth, Sirius doesn't remember all that much about Barry apart from his bright, easy smile and the way he'd seemed to stare at Sirius an awful lot. If nothing else, it had been wonderfully flattering and he'd left the encounter happy to have met Barry even if he hasn't happened to stumble upon him since.
"It's a help having someone here from home," he continues with another sip of his tea. He doesn't mention James or Lily or Remus, even the thought of them making his stomach tight with guilt, but he does manage another smile when he says, "My godson is here. He's... quite a bit more grown than I remember, but his presence is still invaluable. I'm not certain I'd be faring half so well if not for him."
