[The truth is he doesn't know what to say when Barry mentions his kids. They've always joked about that, showing their kids how cool they were, but they've never actually talked about having children. Together or otherwise. Before it didn't matter, but now that they're a couple, that they've talked about forever, it feels like frivolous and more like something they should actually discuss, at least eventually.]

[It's definitely something that they need to talk about. Probably at length. They're both closer to thirty than twenty, and kids are going to become less of a pipedream and more of a genuine possibility sooner rather than later. Barry has always wanted kids. Always wanted a family of his own to love as much as his parents had loved him. But despite the joke Cisco had made on Earth-2 about their grandchildren, he's never actually heard his boyfriend talk about kids. And even though they haven't been together long, he would definitely classify their relationship as a serious, long-term commitment. They'll have to make a date to sit and talk about this kind of thing before it gets pushed aside for the villain of the week.]
