"Don't sell yourself short," Matt adds with a smile, sipping at his beer. "You've got a master's degree in mechanical engineering and you spend your time helping the police. That's no small thing." In all honesty, it's also intriguing.

Mention of karaoke draws another smile. "You know I've never been? But that's probably a small mercy, I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket." But in hearing Cisco's voice, the warm cadence of it, Matt is almost sure he can sing very well.

"Movies? What sort? I'll admit I try and keep up, but unless it's a book to movie adaptation I tend to lose some of the action."
